Rivers and streams

Landscapes contain a mosaic of habitats all of which have varying degrees of interconnectedness we aim to explore these habitats and reveal the species that are associated with them.

Rivers are key landscape features connecting habitats and acting as corridors through a changing landscape from the hills to the lowlands, lakes and the coast.

There are seemingly endless opportunities for exploring rivers and streams and their associated habitats including near natural dynamic systems, enigmatic species such as kingfisher, dipper, brown trout and sand martins to wet woodland and flower rich floodplains.
